Experienced, qualified and dedicated staff provide a high level of support and care to residents in all of our aged care facilities. All of our residential aged care facilities are accredited by the Aged Care Standards and Accreditation Agency, and we are committed to progressing innovative care which supports each elderly person to celebrate their personal life journey.
Our commitment to quality care
We are committed to the provision of quality care and support for everyone, regardless of faith, religious affiliations, socio-economic circumstances and personal belief systems.
All of Churches of Christ Care’s aged care facilities are accredited by the Aged Care Standards and Accreditation Agency, which was established by the Commonwealth Government in 1999. In partnership with the industry, the Agency developed 44 ‘Expected Outcomes’ with which aged care providers are expected to comply. These ‘Expected Outcomes’ are designed to protect aged people in care and ensure an appropriate standard of care is provided.
In line with these requirements, we undertake comprehensive background checks on all managers and key personnel working in our aged care facilities. Our aged care facilities employ experienced, qualified staff including registered nurses. All staff undergo regular police criminal history checks.
Funding
We receive the bulk of our funding from the Australian Federal Government by way of subsidies to provide care in residential aged care facilities and community care programs.
