PRIVATE HOME CARE SERVICES
Our Private Home Care Services are provided through Churches of Christ Care’s Community Aged Care services. There are no waiting lists and we are able to work with you immediately to assist you to live independently in your own home.
Our individually tailored services are available to older people who wish to remain at home but require assistance or support through the delivery of practical services to your home.
Your Private Home Care Services are available whenever you require
Personalised home care services are available from one hour to 24 hours per day and can be accessed seven days a week, including weekends and public holidays.
Types of services
Services may include:
- personal care and grooming
- domestic services eg meal preparation, home cleaning, laundry, shopping and errands, ironing, tidying cupboards
- transport to attend social activities
- companionship
- arranging cleaning of windows, screens, fans, carpets and curtains
- light gardening and plant care
- arranging lawn mowing and other garden maintenance
- wellbeing programs – exercise and other healthy ageing pursuits, outings, assistance to access opportunities for learning and participating in social groups.
- transport e.g. to medical appointments
- medication reminders and management
- in home respite – planned or emergency respite in the home to give carers a break
- extra assistance in the home on return from hospital or following recent illness
- support services and care for persons with dementia care
- specialised nursing services (available in some areas)
- holiday companionship and support, other travel assistance
- assisting you to access services for home maintenance and modifications
- required assistance in addition to a government funded service you may already receive.
