Churches of Christ Care Aged Care Service Bribie Island is just a short walk from the Pumicestone Passage where you will find beautiful still water views across to Redcliffe, Brisbane and the Glasshouse Mountains. Living at Churches of Christ Care Aged Care Service Bribie Island you can enjoy the island’s abundant birdlife and wheelchair friendly walking tracks along the foreshore and throughout the island.

Hostel

Our hostel offers 52 low care accommodation beds including two respite beds. Each private room has ensuite facilities, built-in wardrobe, ceiling fan, wall heater and an emergency call system. Each section of the hostel provides a tastefully furnished, airconditioned dining room and lounge room for the residents’ relaxation.

Nursing home

Our nursing home offers 62-bed accommodation, including one respite bed. The Frangipani wing provides single rooms and three twin-share rooms; the Acacia wing has both shared and single rooms. All rooms have built-in wardrobes, air conditioning with individual controls and a 24-hour emergency call system. Spacious communal areas, including a dining room and lounge rooms are provided for residents’ use and relaxation. Jacaranda, our special needs unit, provides an additional 20 high care beds.

Personal care services

Although our residents are encouraged to maintain independence with their everyday living tasks, if extra assistance is needed our staff are able to help with showering , personal hygiene, medication, dressing, dementia and emotional support, mobility, meal assistance, special diets, rehabilitation, communication and short-term illness.

Registered nurses and personal care staff offer 24-hour assistance to residents with every aspect of their daily needs. We embrace the philosophy that residents should maintain as much independence as possible.

Retirement living

Bribie Island Aged Care Services is co-located with Bribie Island Village, Bongaree, one of our 17 retirement villages located in popular retirement locations throughout Queensland and Melbourne. We offer one, two and three-bedroom independent living options at Bribie Island Village and two-bedroom accommodation at Woorim Village located surfside on Bribie Island. Our qualified and dedicated community aged staff offer personalised care to enable clients to stay in their own home for as long as possible to maintain independences and quality of life.
