Churches of Christ Care Aged Care Service Crows Nest, rests among beautiful scenery, national parks, boutique eateries, art galleries and the pleasure of country hospitality. Our service and accommodates residents requiring either low or high care, with provisions made for residents assessed with special needs. In addition, Community Aged Care Packages and retirement village units are offered on site.

Nursing home

High care is provided from Tulloch House, a 32-bed service located in the spacious grounds of Crows Nest Care Services. Tulloch House provides care in 2-bed rooms with adjacent bathrooms. Sitting rooms, an activities area and easy access to the outside offer a homelike environment for residents and their visiting families. A palliative care unit has been built and staff trained to meet the needs of residents and families needing this service. Tulloch House also offers one respite bed.

Special needs

A secure, eight-bed unit meets the needs of people with special needs in Cooinda’s western wing. The eastern wing of Cooinda is a new unit which houses 10 low care residents. This area is fully air conditioned with single ensuited rooms, each having access to landscaped gardens.

Ageing in place

Kooltoopa is home to 40 low and high care residents, living in ensuited, single rooms. Sunny sitting rooms, together with spacious entertainment areas, both inside and outdoors, compliment life at Kooltoopa. Residents are encouraged to personalise their room with photos and furniture of their choosing. All rooms have easy access to outside areas and comfortable sitting areas inside.

Personal care services

Although our residents are encouraged to maintain independence with their everyday living tasks, if extra assistance is needed our staff are able to help with personal hygiene, medication, dressing, dementia and emotional support, mobility, meal assistance, rehabilitation, communication and socialisation support.

Retirement living

Crows Nest Care Service is co-located with Crows Nest Village, one of our 17 retirement villages located in popular retirement locations throughout Queensland and Melbourne.
