Churches of Christ Care Fair Haven Aged Care Service Maryborough

Situated close to the heart of the ‘heritage city’ and within walking distance to the Maryborough Golf Club and the picturesque Ululah Lagoon and Park, Churches of Christ Care Fair Haven Aged Care Service Maryborough offers high care to 40 residents and low care to 50 residents. Residents live in peaceful surroundings and enjoy quality care in a relaxing environment with co-located Churches of Christ Care Fair Haven Village, Maryborough.

Hostel

Our hostel offers 50-bed accommodation including one respite bed. Each private room has an ensuite, built-in wardrobe, ceiling fan and an emergency call system. There are two dining areas and three lounge rooms within the hostel. There is also a secure area for residents with special care needs.

Nursing home

Our Alf Popp nursing home offers 40-bed accommodation including one respite bed. We have nine triple rooms, which consist of a single room and a double room; eight single rooms with an ensuite; and four single rooms without an ensuite. Each room contains a built-in wardrobe, ceiling fan and an emergency call system. The single rooms also have built-in heaters. There are three cosy, smaller lounge rooms with televisions and one large lounge communal area for residents to relax in.

Personal care services

Although registered nurses and personal care staff offer 24-hour assistance to residents with every aspect of their daily needs we embrace the philosophy that residents should maintain as much independence as possible, if extra assistance is needed our staff are available to help with showering, personal hygiene, medication, dressing, dementia and emotional support, mobility, meal assistance, special diets, rehabilitation, communication and short-term illness.

Retirement living

Churches of Christ Care Fair Haven Aged Care Service Maryborough is co-located with Fair Haven Village, one of our 17 retirement villages located in popular retirement locations throughout Queensland and Melbourne.
