Churches of Christ Care Amaroo Aged Care Service Gatton & District

Nestled in the beautiful Lockyer Valley within easy access of Brisbane and Toowoomba, Churches of Christ Care Amaroo Aged Care Service Gatton & District provides high and low care accommodation. This facility rests in native bush surroundings and is conveniently located on the south side of Gatton in the Lockyer Valley Shire, which is known as ‘the salad bowl’, where quality fruit and vegetables are grown.

Nursing home and hostel

We provide accommodation to 20 residents in single, ensuited rooms. All rooms have built-in wardrobes, an emergency call system and access to a garden area outside. The facility is climate controlled for residents’ comfort. Tastefully furnished lounge and dining areas provide pleasant areas for residents to relax in. The residents’ laundry is serviced on site and all meals are prepared and served by staff.

Personal care services

Although our residents are encouraged to maintain independence with their everyday living tasks, if extra assistance is needed our staff are able to help with personal hygiene, medication, dressing, dementia and emotional support, mobility, meal assistance, rehabilitation, communication and socialisation support.

Retirement living

Our aged care service is co-located with Amaroo Village, Gatton, one of our 17 retirement villages located in popular retirement locations throughout Queensland and Melbourne.
